Who are we?

Multi-Value is an organisation specialised in measuring and improving the customer experience at our clients’ businesses by using tools such as, customer experience visits, feedback, coaching and training. Multi-Value annually carries out more than 60,000 customer experience visits (with feedback and coaching) for its customers in various sectors, including automotive, retail, banking and hospitality. The organisation is characterised by the informal atmosphere, team spirit and enormous drive to improve the customer experience.

As a Sales & Account Manager, you are responsible for the account management & expansion of your client portfolio as well as new business sales. The relationship with our clients is hugely important to us so keeping this relationship solid will be an important part of the position. You work closely with the Office Manager, the team of Project Coordinators and the Board of Directors at Multi-Value. 

In this position, you are consulting with senior stakeholders of big companies. We believe “people do business with people” so it is therefore a must to be mature, credible and have a natural ability to lead a conversation. As you will often need to translate the client’s needs and requirements to the Project Team, it is essential you have excellent organisational skills, you are able to plan forward and prioritise the workload accordingly. An analytical approach towards data is a good skill to have as you must have the ability to derive insights from them and subsequently consulting based on those insights.

In this position, you will frequently be out of office meeting clients and prospects so you have to be able to travel a few days per week within the Benelux and Germany (depending on second language) without upsetting the domestic situation. However, it is very important to remain connected to our operational hub in Eindhoven, Netherlands so we ask you to be in the office at least once per week. If this is your office of choice, you will be able to travel to Antwerp, Belgium on occasion too.

PERSONAL SITUATION: Available and willing to work fulltime. Based in Netherlands or Belgium.

LITERACY: Native proficiency and professional working proficiency in Dutch, English and French and/or German are required. 

COMPUTER SKILLS: Must be adept in use of MS Office 365 or earlier, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and ideally has previous experience with SaaS software, planning tools and/or ERP (AFAS). 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Communications, Business & Retail or Hospitality/Facility management. Preferably complemented with one or more completed courses in the area of sales, marketing or training. 

EXPERIENCE: At least three years of relevant working experience, preferably working in Sales or Account Management. A proven track record will be appreciated. Experience in a market research, mystery shopping or training/coaching environment is a significant surplus.

PERSONALITY: You have a strong personality and are someone who enjoys being the centre of attention. You’re not shy to get in front of a video camera or to present on stage. You also have the skill to listen to people and adapt the conversation to the people you’re speaking to. You are likeable, can cope with and easily create new relationships.
